The active cable converts the USB3 data signal into an optical signal. Then it's transmitted over 10 meter of optical fiber cable and after that the optical signal is converted back to an electrical USB3 signal. The power is transmitted using copper wire. The cable uses a maximum of 0.94W from the USB3 port to convert the electric signals into optical signals and back. Because the USB3 signals are transmitted using optical fiber cable, no EMI problems can occur. It's an highflex cable, therefore it can be used in robots and moving machines. This cable is also an ideal solution for high speed imaging up to 10 meter of cable length. The connectors are USB-A male (to connect to PC) to Micro-B male (to connect to an industrial camera)
