Installation of Micro Manager

Please ensure you have installed our SDK before installing Micro Manager. To learn how to install our SDK in detail, see our QuickStart article.

From the official website, download Micro Manager, then follow the directions. Download the Daheng.dll and copy it to the Micro Manager installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Micro Manager-2.0). Now you can select the Daheng.dll via the Hardware Configuration Wizard.

As depicted in the screenshots below, follow the Wizard. Make a new configuration first.

Locate the Daheng Imaging directory and choose the attached file. Click on Add… and select OK.

Click on Next until you get to the following window.

Create a new config file (e.g. Daheng.cfg).

Click on Finish when you’re done. Afterwards, connect your machine vision cameras. You can change the parameters of the cameras in the Device Property Browser.

Please note that certain parameters cannot be changed at this moment.

After setting up the camera you can start the acquisition by clicking on the Live Button.
