This 25cm USB3 extension cable is panel mount. It has a USB3 B female connector (panel mount) and USB3 Micro-B Male connector (screwlock). It is designed for OEM companies that build devices that include an industrial camera. The Micro-B male connector connects to the industrial camera. The USB3 B Female connector is panel mount so it will be the USB3 input port of the device that is build. It offers an additional JST connector where 5V can be extracted from the USB bus to provide power to external electronics. This can be used for example to power LEDS. Please note that the maximum power that can be extracted from the USB BUS is 5V @ 400mA = 2Watt. The remaining USB power is required for the industrial vision camera.
