Aside from the choices in this standard portfolio, there are situations where utilizing a custom machine vision camera could benefit your vision camera project in several ways. Here are some explanations as to why customizing your machine vision cameras might be advantageous:

• Cameras for special lenses: Certain machine vision lenses have unique requirements, like a different camera mount, different optical specifications, or different dimensions. A typical machine vision camera is insufficient for these specialized lenses. We could create a unique camera that matches your unique lens precisely.
• Camera Rebranding: We provide a variety of choices for rebranding your machine vision camera, including customized models without a logo or ones that have your own brand emblem on the housing. The camera's firmware can be altered beforehand by adding your own part number and vendor name, or it can be frozen. • Special camera dimensions: Most of our vision cameras measure 29 by 29 mm. We can create customized cameras in the size of your choice when different dimensions are needed. For example, a custom camera with smaller dimensions offers an excellent solution when your vision system has limited space for the camera.
• Special camera features: Occasionally, you require a feature that our cameras do not normally offer, like an extremely brief exposure time of one second. We could port this feature to all camera models if they have a sensor that can support the function. It is currently available for some of our camera models. Adding a whole new feature that lets you use a single trigger to create multiple images with different settings is another example.

Rebranding your machine vision cameras

Firstly, a machine vision camera can be purchased without a logo on the housing. The bespoke camera housing will be painted black. Even for small camera orders of just 50 pieces, this is currently achievable! Second, we can provide you with a machine vision camera that has the housing emblazoned with your company's logo. The camera housing will be black with your own logo displayed in white. Additionally, we provide personalized choices for a different housing color. For orders of just 200 or more pieces, you can personalize your machine vision camera by adding your company's logo to the camera housing. Would you like your machine vision camera to have a custom mount? For small quantities, it is also feasible (M.O.Q. of 50–100 pieces, depending on request and type of camera). M14 and micro four thirds’ mounts are two examples of specialty camera mounts.

We can offer you a bespoke machine vision camera with your own unique firmware part number in addition to customizing the camera housing. Your own part number and the name of your company will appear in the device manager when you plug the camera into the computer. For the custom firmware part number, there is a minimum order quantity of 100–200 pieces. In addition to allowing for firmware customization, freezing the camera's firmware is another option. It makes sense that you would want to retain the current firmware after you have tested the camera. If so, it might be frozen to prevent it from receiving updates to the newest firmware. You can freeze your firmware for at least 100 cameras.

In other situations, a small increase in the standard cost of the customized vision camera might be necessary to make the adjustments possible. For example, the current customization options we offer start at just 12 dollars more per camera. A one-time fee might apply to more complicated customization requests requiring specialized parts or substantial engineering work.
